Magnificent baroque gardens, world-famous landscape parks and idyllic grounds with botanical abundance: Saxony-Anhalt is an ideal destination for park lovers. The green feel-good program in the state’s 50 Gartenträume parks leads along picturesque paths through parks with charming sculptures, palaces and manor houses.

In 2000, the state of Saxony-Anhalt initiated a unique project: On behalf of the approximately 1,000 garden monuments in the state, the most beautiful and significant parks were selected and brought together in the tourist and monument preservation network Gartenträume – Historic Parks in Saxony-Anhalt.
